According to Imam/Mazhab Shafi'i, one's ablution or wudhu' would be nulified if the person has physical contact (skin) with the other gender whom they can marry.
There are of course other opinions, views and mazhab on this where the ablution will not be nulified if it was just an accidental physical contact (you bump into someone).
