The crimes against people with darker skin color, the attack in Christchurch’s mosque in New Zealand, the attack in Germany’s Hanau, the attack in London, the horrible events in India… The unjust violence against the children of Adam (AS) in general is heart breaking. The Challenge Team of Nur City clearly wants to show #NoToHateCrime or #NoToHateCrimes ! Whether it’s about hate crimes done to Muslims or to other people. We can make simple artworks of Muslims doing Duaa / non-Muslims praying, or draw the symbol of solidarity or a group protecting another group from hate. There are quite a lot of possibilities to show empathy.
Let’s remind ourselves to spend time/effort/money for good causes; to support the oppressed ones with the best of our capacity.
