PUBLISHING AND CREATOR PARTNERSHIPS

Give your story the right path forward.

Whether you have drawn your first comic, finished a graphic novel, made a children’s book, or want to talk about a publishing partnership, start with the path that matches your project. Each path has different review steps and rights considerations.

Choose the right path

Share work with the community

Submit eligible comics, short manga, illustrations and fan art for editorial review and community display. Community submissions follow community terms and are not commercial publishing deals.

Propose a publishing project

Have an original manga, graphic novel, children’s book or illustrated story? Send a short proposal about the project, the audience and the support you want.

Suggest a title for the catalogue

Know a published comic, animation, manga or children’s book we should index? Recommend it for factual cataloguing. A catalogue entry is not a publishing or endorsement agreement.

Ask about licensing or permissions

Interested in translation, reprinting, educational use, adaptation or distribution of a Muslim Manga-owned work? Start with a rights inquiry so we can find the right rights holder and scope.

Carry our products in your shop or school

Bookstores, gift shops, school programs and event organizers can ask about carrying eligible Muslim Manga products. Availability, pricing and fulfillment are quoted individually.

Want to join the team instead?

Joining the team is a different path from publishing. See volunteering, careers and internships.

How these relationships differ

Path What it is What it is not
Community submission Sharing work for review and display A publishing or royalty agreement
Publishing proposal A request to discuss a partnership An automatic offer
Catalogue suggestion A factual listing of a work Permission to reproduce it, or an endorsement
Licensing inquiry A request for rights to a Muslim Manga-owned work A blanket permission
Retail partnership Stocking eligible products A guarantee of availability or price

What we do

We create original stories, support a community of visual storytellers, and keep a discovery catalogue of works from many publishers. Being listed in our catalogue does not mean Muslim Manga publishes, owns, sells, or has permission to reproduce that title.

What we look for in a proposal

A clear concept, the intended readers and age range, sample pages or an existing edition, creator and rights-holder details, original language and translations, publishing history, and a realistic description of the collaboration you want. We may ask follow-up questions, and sending a proposal does not guarantee an offer.

Rights and trust

Creators keep their existing rights unless they sign a separate written agreement that says otherwise. Do not send confidential full manuscripts or unpublished high-resolution files until a secure review method is agreed, and do not submit material you do not have the authority to share. All commercial terms need a written agreement reviewed by the parties.

Questions

Will you publish everything submitted? No. Each path has its own review and capacity limits.

Does submitting transfer copyright? No. Sending an inquiry transfers nothing, and any publishing license needs separate written terms.

Can you print my book? Print and distribution options depend on the project and an agreed arrangement. There is no automatic print commitment.

Can I suggest another publisher’s book? Yes, for the catalogue. Please do not upload unauthorized scans or cover files.

Do you sell every title in your catalogue? No. Many are third-party discovery records only.
