Solidarity for the Oppressed Muslim

There are a lot of oppressions/injustices happening all over the world to groups of Muslims, be it in China, Myanmar, Yemen, Palestine.  Muslims are facing injustice and persecution in many parts of the world.  This is a very serious topic, so we have made it this month’s theme for our manga contest.

Details on the contest:

• You will be required to create a minimum of 4 pages of 4koma manga.  4koma are 4-panel manga.  So you are required to make a total of 16 panels of manga.  Each page can be a completely different story or it can be connected to the previous page.
  • Examples of 4koma manga are Hana & Love 4koma, Muslim Manga Club, and Journey of a Muslim.
• Your entry must follow the theme of this contest: Create a comic that shows solidarity, or support for the oppressed Muslims, or spread awareness about the situation,
• New submissions only.  The re-sharing of old submissions is not allowed.
• It is suggested that you pick one group of Muslims, in order to create a more effective comic.
