The Silent Manga Ramadhan Contest
The Theme:
The Ramadan comic competition is open to all, regardless of your religion or level of drawing experience. The theme for the competition is “Silent Manga: Ramadan Edition,” and artists are encouraged to submit a comic (minimum 4 pages + cover) that depicts your personal experiences during the holy month of Ramadan.
Ramadan is an important time of the year for Muslims all around the world. It is a time of spiritual reflection, prayer, and fasting. In recent years, there has been an increase in the popularity of Muslim manga, a genre of manga that explores themes related to Islam and Muslim culture. This year, we at Muslim Manga, an organisation dedicated to promoting the Muslim manga genre, are holding a Ramadan comic competition that brings together artists from all over the world to explore our Ramadan experiences.
The submissions will be judged by the Muslim Manga community along with the MM founders. The judges will evaluate the comics based on your artistic quality, adherence to the theme, and overall message.
