Violence is Not Normal, even if unfortunately there are always new tragedies happening. This time it is the mass shootings in Texas and Ohio or new and continued oppression throughout the world. Our prayers go to the victims and their families, that were affected in these tragedies. Let us not make these kinds of tragedies and events a “normal” thing.
May Allah make them strong in these times of trials.
Understandably, these can be controversial issues for people, as there are differing opinions.
Keep in mind that the main point of this piece is to state that these situations are not normal and where people are hurting, we shouldn’t be numb to it.
Even if one side is right or another side, when people are hurt we should be feeling for them.
“WaSalam” are in parts “Wa” and “Salam”, which mean peace in Japanese and Arabic respectively. Additionally, it is the respond to “Salam” as a greeting in Arabic.
